At North Penn Physical Therapy, you will receive a comprehensive evaluation to determine the cause of your problem and develop a treatment plan that will help you meet your goals.

We will communicate with you throughout the rehab process so that you are informed about your treatment and progress, and you will be encouraged to play an active role in your successful recovery.

We will also communicate with your family physician, or other health care providers at your request, so that all members of your health care team can be informed and give you the best possible care.

We will work with your health insurance company to determine what treatment options are covered. If insurance does not cover treatment, you have the right to be informed of this, and we will work with you to determine the options that are available to you to maximize your outcome.

Physical Therapy can help address a wide variety of health
issues before they become more serious problems.

For example, back or neck pain that occurs without specific injury in an otherwise healthy individual is often due to poor posture. Other common health problems, like ankle sprains, have a very high rate of recurrence. And, minor aches and pains from tendonitis or overuse injuries can quickly become chronic if left untreated.

ARE YOU AT RISK OF FALLING?

As people age, many worry that their balance is deteriorating. Each year, thousands of seniors suffer serious or life-threatening injuries as a result of falls.

North Penn Physical Therapy can help. A balance assessment can help determine your level of risk, and identify types of treatment that can restore your balance and confidence. In most cases, both the assessment and treatment are covered by insurance.

Imagine the peace of mind you will have when you or your loved one has better balance, greater confidence, and a reduced risk of injury.

About Me
I have been working as a physical therapist for 14 years, and have experience in nearly every setting, including acute care hospitals, outpatient centers, and skilled nursing facilities.

I spent several years working in various capacities for Main Line Health System, eventually serving as supervisor of Bryn Mawr Hospital’s Physical Medicine department. I have successfully treated all types of diagnoses, including wound care, TMJ, and stroke rehabilitation. However, I am most interested in the treatment of foot and ankle disorders, neck and back pain, joint replacements, and balance dysfunction.

My philosophy:

I believe that when you seek a health care provider, it should be someone who listens to your problem, then helps to come up with a solution that fits your needs and lifestyle.

Care should be one-on-one and personal, and you should not feel that you are
“just a number”. Ideally, you should work with the same therapist at each session so that together you can discuss your progress and make changes to your treatment plan as needed.
